Student Led Conference....

IB PYP students at Cambridge International Foundation School participated in STUDENT LED CONFERENCE(S) on Monday, 17^th October 2016. A student led conference is a tête-à-tête between students and their parents. Each student shares his/her learning with his/her parents through student portfolios. All classrooms from Grades Nursery to 5 buzzed with student performance during the SLCs held. Children eloquently communicated how they learn and what they love to learn most. Parents too participated enthusiastically not just as listeners but as inquirers, keen to know about their child’s learning engagements. Parents also visited the Performing Arts room wherein Dance and Music performances of children were projected. The idea of watching children in motion was liked by all. The event left the children confident and the parents informed.

A Session on “daily hygiene and health” was organized for PYP children to brush up the daily hygiene. Dr. Gurdeep from Indoco Remedies Ltd interacted with kids and demonstrated the 6- steps directions for hand wash. The idea was using sanitizes was also discussed. Curious learners also had questions which were answered there and then. It was a fruitful session of learning about health and hygiene.
